MainConcept DVCPRO 25/50 is a full-featured DVCPRO 25/50 transcoding solution for MainConcept Reference. It enhances the encoder application by the capability to import and encode DV and DVCPRO 25/50. The software is fully compliant with the following standards: DV (IEC-61834), DVCPRO 25 and DVCPRO 50 (SMPTE 314M). MainConcept DVCPRO 25/50 allows you to export the clips into the DIF format. It delivers considerably higher picture quality since it allows video data rates at 50 Mb/s. The full license codec Plug-In supports all major YUV and RGB color spaces. When MainConcept DVCPRO 25/50 is installed as Windows version you have also the opportunity to decode DVCPRO 25 and 50 frames in the Windows Media Player or similar DirectShow players.
